Obraz ženy přelomu tisíciletí ženskýma očima

In 1993, when an issue of the journal Výtvarné umění, focusing on artwork by women, was published, Czech women artists reacted sceptically to the notion of women's art. Since then, the situation has changed considerably and many artists analyse their own specific experience as women in their works. The article treats the depiction of the social roles of women, the stereotypes and contemporary models of self-identification for women.
