In 1983-1989, Miloš Šejn created a set of about fifty processional scrolls on the theme of the landscape. The author of the article interprets them in the broader context of general issues of perception and touches on some of the older, similar treatments (Daoji, Caspar David Friedrich), which depict a radical subjective experience of the landscape through an image of that landscape.
