Laon, la catedhédrale aux sept tours
The study highlights the artistic form and arrangement of the towers of the cathedral in Laon, built from the second half of the 12th century. Besides the tower above the crossing and the two pairs of towers forming the front of the transept, the author focuses on the famous western towers known from the sketchbook of Villard d'Honnecourt, which became the elementary model for this type of cathedral towers.
