The Christmas crib figures of the Krakow convent of Clare nuns are typical examples of the woodcarving of Little Poland. In the older studies on the subject, they were dated to 1357-1375 and linked with the impact of the style of the Master of the Michel Madonna. The author provides new arguments in support of this theory.
