Repräsentations- oder Krönungsornat? Zum Ursprung und zur Funktion des Zeremonialgewandes Ferdinands IV. aus dem Jahre 1653

The article treats the Bohemian coronation garment that was attributed to Ferdinand II in the older literature on the subject. The author disproves this attribution and demonstrates, on the basis of historical sources, that the outfit was made for Ferdinand IV in 1653. The article also describes the function of the garment and its use in later ceremonies.
