"Toporná modernost". Teorie funkcionalismu Karla Honzíka
v letech 1930-1950, její zdroje a paralely

The article treats the theories of the architect Karel Honzík from 1930 to 1950, in the context of the new themes and positions that were emerging at that time. His thinking involved a re-evaluation of functionalism, reflections on the symbolic-representative function of architecture and style, and an emphasis on the psychological needs of the individual, in contrast with early functionalism. He also considered the importance of the regional building tradition and the current architectural context.
