Offiziere und Rivalen Albrecht von Waldsteins als Stifter von Bauwerken in der Zeit des Dreißigjährigen Kriegs in Böhmen und Mähren
The study treats the building activities of members of the imperial army during the period of the Thirty Years' War, in particular those associated with projects on regional estates. The officers of Albrecht of Waldstein and his military rivals introduced a new cultural orientation and contemporary proto-Baroque style to the Bohemian Lands, in addition to political changes. One thinks, in this case, of the Spanish General Baltazar Marradas y Vique and his adjutant Martin Huerta, among others.
