Villa Traub in Prague (1928): Bruno Paul and Pragmatic Functionalism
This article deals in detail with the Prague villa designed in 1928 by German architect Bruno Paul for the industrialist Edmund Traub. The author perceives the building, different from the then-projects in the Baba neighbourhood, as a representation of pragmatic functionalism and as a deliberate confrontation with the avant-garde idealism.
