Konec prevítů v Čechách
The word prevít (a jakes, as well as rubbish and filth) designates the medieval type of suspended toilet on a console. The author points out how these toilets, in the form of bays, were reflected in the facades of certain buildings, and treats the time when the older types were replaced by new types with walled sewage shafts. At Prague Castle, this happened around 1555.
