von Hildebrandt. Zur Problematik des Guarinismus
in Mitteleuropa

The article treats the early work of Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer, with reference to the work of the Austrian architect Johann Lucas von Hildebrandt, whom Dientzenhofer met during his stay in Vienna in 1723. He later executed a number of von Hildebrandt's designs in Bohemia. In this connection, one may speculate about the possibility that Hildebrandt designed the chateau Epiphany Chapel in Smiřice, which raises once again questions of the so-called Bohemian radical group.
