František Gross, Z deníku 1942-1943
The study collects a selection of the most important passages from the diary of František Gross, which the artist kept for not quite four months. Aside from personal comments about his own work, even including eight small sketches, probably the most valuable entries concern the creation and functioning of Group 42, not yet named as such at the time. The diary also speaks of the dismal social situation, which was decidedly marked by the events of the war.
