K otázkám pořizovatelů Bible boskovické
Through analysis of two coats of arms found on the decoration of the Book of Exodus, fol. 21r, and other illuminations, the author attempts to determine who commissioned the Boskovice bible. The placement of the coat of arms of Lords from Lipá indicates that it was created at the wish of a latter owner of the bible, who wanted to identify with the owner's original intention and acknowledge the motif of the chalice. The buyer of the bible was apparently Čeněk from Vartemberk and Veselí, who was a supporter of the Hussite movement and from 1414 onward represented the highest burgrave. The author dates the beginning of the decorative work on the bible to 1421, when Čeněk was defeated by Jan Želivský at the battle of Jaroměř.
