Jindřich Toman
Dostaveníčko všech pokrokových lidí. Kupkova putovní výstava 1905-1907 a její ohlas
Jindřich Toman's study considers the reaction to the travelling exhibition of František Kupka in Bohemia and Moravia in 1905-1907 and at the same time points to the shaping of the critical discourse of his work in the first decade of the 20th century. Of the many towns in which the exhibition was shown and in which it instigated a number of polemic and scandalous reactions, the author focuses on Kolín and Prostějov. He makes the authentic criticism of the exhibited works accessible to the reader through numerous quotations from periodicals of the time and Kupka's own letters and notes.
