Umělecká geneze náhrobku biskupa Przecława z Pogorzelu

The tomb of Bishop Przecław of Pogorzel (died 1376) is located in the Marian Chapel of the Wrocław (Breslau) cathedral. Earlier sources have noted the similarity between the work in question and the tombs of Jan Očko of Vlašim in St Vitus Cathedral in Prague and Arnošt of Pardubice in Kłodzko (Glatz). The author develops this hypothesis with new arguments, clarifies the circumstances under which the work was made and points out other connections with the circle of Parleresque sculpture.
