K otázce intervence svatých bojovníků křesťanského Východu a Západu

The holy warriors were among the most venerated group of saints in Eastern Christianity. According to the hagiographic sources, they were soldiers who were martyred for their faith in Christ. The article treats the veneration of these warriors and demonstrates that their cult was not widespread in the West. There it was replaced by the invocation of the patron saints of the land. St George was an exception in this respect.
