Zu Datierung und Interpretation des Westportals
des Zisterzienserinnenklosters Porta Coeli in Tišnov (Tischnowitz)
The western portal of the Cistercian convent in Tišnov, restored in 2000-2002, is a unique example of medieval sculpture. The article presents new information about the dating and iconography of the portal, as well as the founder of the convent, Queen Constance (1180-1240), daughter of King Béla III, who played a role in the intellectual scheme of the decoration.
