Probleme der Prager St. Georg-Statue aus dem Jahre 1373
Although there have been no recent findings or new facts or sources discovered which would better illuminate the circumstances surrounding the origin of the statue of St George at Prague Castle, the author attempts to offer a new perspective on the work, connected with a new interpretation of the problem. He places the work in the context of Italian early Renaissance sculpture, thereby attributing it with a progressive modernity. This, according to the author, is also evident in the work's composition, which most likely assumes a frontal view of the observer.
