Jindřich Vybíral
Německá architektura v Praze v letech 1900-1918. Tvůrci a záměry
The paper focuses on the work and intellectual background of the German architects working on Czech territory from 1900 to 1918, in particular, Josef Zasche (1871-1957) and the less well-known Friedrich Kick (1867-1945), a student of Otto Wagner's. The text also treats more generally the relationship between Czech and German architecture of the period, the similarities and differences and the ideological and political motives that were reflected in architecture.
