In his article, Martin Pavlíček makes several fundamental contributions to the study of Braun's work. Aside from the interpretation of the untraditional iconography of the statue of the Immaculate Conception in Neděliště near Hradec Králové and the new dating of the statues of the three canonical fathers in Lysá nad Labem, he introduces four new attributions. On the basis of a stylistic analysis, he attributes the following works to Braun: the Crucified Christ from the palace chapel in Jemniště, the stone statue of St John of Nepomuk from Bechyně-Zářečí, the carving of St Matthew from the chapel of St Adalbert in Terešov near Rokycany and the stone statue of St John of Nepomuk from Choustníkovo Hradiště.
