"De regalibus honoribus in Aula Regia." Ikonografie Reinerových fresek v Královském sále a v prelatuře cisterciáckého kláštěra na Zbraslavi
The frescoes of the so-called Royal Hall in the Cistercian Monastery in Zbraslav were painted by Václav Vavřinec Reiner in 1728, according to a literary model provided by the mediaeval Zbraslav Chronicle. On the basis of a research of the chronicle and other resources, the article newly identifies iconographic motifs of the paintings and interprets them in the contemporary political-social context. Besides, the article offers a new interpretation of the frescoes in the prelature, painted by Reiner in 1739.
