Nástěnná malba Trůnního sálu biskupské rezidence v Litoměřicích
The ceiling of the Throne Hall of the Bishop's Residence in Litoměřice is covered by a monumental wall painting depicting the scene from the Old Testament wherein water flows out of a rock hit by the angry Moses. This scene is lined by medallions portraying allegories of the four seasons and a couple of putti. The article provides a deeper analysis of the iconographic and style concept of this work whose model it finds in a painting by Roman painter Ciro Ferri (1634-1689).
